Thanks for sharing nug. That is a nice one even if it is a Mitchel's. If it got you started in milsurps, then I would also say it was worth what you paid for it.

One way to check is to measure the ring. It's normal size is 1.400". I just got this from a Mauser collector and well be measuring a few rifles to see what I have.
